Starship’s Fifth Flight:
On October 13, SpaceX successfully launched its fifth Starship flight and achieved a major milestone by catching the Super Heavy booster mid-air. The flight lasted over an hour, with Starship following a trajectory over the Indian Ocean for reentry
Crew-8 Departs ISS:
On the same day, the Crew-8 mission, launched in March, officially departed the International Space Station. NASA astronauts Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt, Jeanette Epps, and Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin have returned after conducting several significant experiments, including studying how space conditions affect brain health and drug manufacturing
